About Golf Management Victoria
Golf Management Victoria ("GMV") is a legally constituted incorporated association of golf club managers based in the state of Victoria, including golf club managers in Tasmania and also in southern New South Wales. The association is a member of Golf Management Australia.
The association is represented by an elected board comprising of Ordinary members of the association, who represent members and arrange the following on behalf of members:
- Organise periodical business, information or education meetings of members;
- Organise golf events and social functions to promote liaison, goodwill and fellowship amongst members and others involved in the golfing industry;
- Assist, facilitate and increase members' knowledge of golf management and administration and advise methods whereby members may acquire further knowledge;
- Assist the financing of members' expenses incurred in attending educational, professional development, or information meetings with kindred bodies;
- Promote the game of golf and improve members' understanding of all aspects relating to the playing of the game and its rules;
- To affiliate or liaise with kindred organisations interstate or overseas;

How to join GMV
Candidates for GMV membership must be a current Manager or Assistant Manager (or similiar responsible management position) of a Golf Club in Victoria or Tasmania, or in southern New South Wales nearer to Melbourne than Sydney.
Candidates must be nominated by an existing Ordinary or Interstate member of GMV and Seconded either by another GMV member or an Officer of the Golf Club at which the candidate is employed.
Nominations for membership must be in writing on a membership application form obtained by clicking the link below.
The election of candidates to membership is by the unanimous vote of the Executive of GMV.
